Sonic Guild believes our local music deserves the support of our community, just as the opera and symphony have been supported for generations! When you join Sonic Guild, you become part of a community of music lovers, musicians, venues, and more who have come together to send a powerful message to our local musicians: the music they make matters and makes our lives better! Here’s how it works:

• People like you who love our city and our music join Sonic Guild and become a “Patron of Local Music”
• You tell us about the bands you love and attend dozens of private events every season
• At the end of the season, you vote for the bands you love the most
• We award grants at our season ending Sonic Guild Ball

Since our inaugural season in 2014, we have distributed over $6,000,000 in direct payments and grants to Austin musicians and music businesses. We pay our musicians for every performance, whether they ultimately receive a grant from us or not. Our mission is to build a strong community of support around our local musicians so they can continue to create and perform music in our wonderful city.
