Carlos Sosa is a two-time Gospel Music Award winner and has been a major contributor on dozens of GRAMMY-winning albums. Sosa is known for his work as a saxophonist, arranger, songwriter, producer and musical director. Founder and leader of the Austin-based Grooveline Horns, he has worked with world-renowned musicians such as Jason Mraz, Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5, Rob Thomas, Dave Matthews, Mike Posner, Warren Haynes, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Ozomatli, The Meters, Gary Clark Jr., the Zac Brown Band and Mexican artists Jesse and Joy.
Carlos Sosa stays extremely active serving the music community whenever possible. For the past 12 years, he has served on the Texas Chapter Board of Governors for the Recording Academy (also known as the GRAMMYs), during which time he has held office as both President and Vice President. He also holds a position on the Board of the SIMS Foundation
