Parker Woodland

Biography

Rising indie trio Parker Woodland played an epic Sonic Guild showcase on Sept. 21st, on the heels of Parker Woodland Day in the City of Austin. Lead singer/bassist Erin Walter danced through the aisles of 04 Center, belting sing-along anthems over powerful guitars and drums, and Sonic Guild members jumped on stage for the joyful finale, “The World’s on Fire (and We Still Fall in Love).” Being part of the Sonic Guild 2024 class means a lot to Parker Woodland, a band that is driven by love for and connection to the Austin music community.Parker Woodland released their debut full-length album There’s No Such Thing as Time, which hit #24 on Sub-Modern Albums chart, on local Flak Records in September, after previously self-releasing two EPs and many singles since 2019. They played HAAM Day, SXSW Pride, and more this year.At SXSW 2024, Parker Woodland brought punk exuberance, pop hooks and psychedelic guitars to one of the fest’s biggest official stages, KUTX Rock the Shores. The band sold out Mohawk Indoors for a two-night stand, packed Waterloo Records for their release day in-store, and are releasing new single “Holidays in Austin” and embarking on a Texas tour in December 2024, followed by Thursday night Hotel Vegas residency in January 2025. Parker Woodland hopes to get more involved with Sonic Guild in 2025! Thank you all for your support and consideration.
