Owner/Producer/Composer, Brown Recluse
Michael Ramos is a producer/composer/musician living in Austin, Texas. He has toured an/or recorded with the likes of John Melencamp, Patty Griffin, BoDeans, The Rembrandts, Paul Simon, Kris Kristoferson, and many more. Michael also fronted his own studio project and band, Charanga Cakewalk. His love of Austin, its music scene and musicians, and the people that live here, keep him inspired and busy. Michael received a Latin Grammy in 2016 for his work with Lila Downs on the album, “Ballas y Chocolate”. He is also an A&R person for Lucky Hound Music and is a member of the 484 Artist Management team.
He owns his own recording studio, Brown Recluse, where you can find him hard at work most days!
